Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is finally coming to the big screen. The studio has a surprise for us and just released a little teaser trailer to get a taste of what the fifth installment of this franchise will look like.

The story line focuses on Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) being chased by the Pirate’s old rival, Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem), a ghost who escaped the Devil’s Triangle. With that said, Jack Sparrow needs to stop Salazar by obtaining the Trident of Poseidon to defeat the powerful ghost pirate to save the other pirates including himself and the seven seas.

Unfortunately Jack Sparrow is nowhere to be seen in the trailer – only on a Wanted sign pierced with a sword on the wall. It shows the ghostly villain Captain Salazar who is on the hunt for the Sparrow and has a message for him which Henry (Brenton Thwaites) has to deliver: “Death will come straight for him.”

“Pirates of the Caribbean 5” is directed from Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. It stars, next to Johnny and Javier, Orlando Bloom, Geoffrey Rush, Kaya Scodelario and Brenton Thwaites. The long awaited film – five years to be precise (Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides was released in May 2011) – will drop anchor in May 2017.
